  • incredible : we can hear that the power comes from 9000 rpm, e-x-a-c-t-l-y what i felt when i tried one

  • on which gear is it on when the computer says stop? It sound like it's on the 3rd maybe..

  • actually it'sin 4th on very short gearing

  • why only tested on 12 000?? the motor can do better...

  • engine was brand new, it revs to 13 800rpm now power is around 38-40hp

  • I thought ICC engines were supposed to put out over 40 horsepower? like 42-44?

  • at the crank yes,but bhp is 35-38

This engine had less than 2hours on the track. Some dynos of course give more or less hp.This dyno measures at the wheel hp.

  • Nice video. Can you please tell me if you need to chance jetting acording to the weather on a shifter? I am junning a parilla leopard engine with an ibea karb, and it is very sensitive to weahter changes. I come from Denmark, and the summer weather changes a lot!!!

  • Always check the sparkplug!!Yes of course you have to be very carful with the jets just as in the parilla. The best thing to do before going out to the track is to ask what jets the other karts are using , then adjust yours accordingly. When I go to the track and if there is no other kart I run a few laps then check the sparkplug.

  • Hey man. Thanks for your reply!

I did a bit of research tonight and, found a software program called jet-tech pro. It is for a PC, and requires a weather station. If you plot the weather (temperature, altitude, humidity and so on) into the program it calculates the jetting for you. Sounds pretty sweet, but costs a bit ofcourse :-)

  • it was running a bit rich, the jet was 155,a 152 jet would have been more appropriate but the engine was new,not more than 20min of track time. Now it redlines at 14200 instead of 13000 on the dyno.Don't forget these are very high strung engines producing a whopping 300+ hp per liter!

  • 300hp per litre that f1 level

    nevel thaught about that

  • Almost sounds like its hesitating in the midrange around 8000rpms. Or is it just the sound on the video? Gotta love having that transmission to keep it up in the powerband.
