This game was fun before everyone moved from Bree to the 21st hall... and grinding became the norm...

I miss running around Bree, chatting up some friends, playing PvMP with some classmates, everything was enjoyable...

Just an fyi for everyone who claims this will be more successful than WoW etc, its not about the game, its the companies that can provide for the players, and the more hype new games get the less impressed players will be once they get their hands on it, providing facts rather than educated wish lists will bring more success than making everything a competition.

dude.....wow has 10 millions player.....lotro has 175 000 players.....dont think the 10 millions wow player will quit wow for a lotro expansion.....and if they would quit wow for something it will probably be for a new mmo like AoC or WAR(but i think these game wont get much more than 1 million players each)

lol youtube replying fails again, anyway i dont think your hear much of alot of people saying they are going to quit wow for lotro, most people say they are going to quit for AoC or WAR, just go look on the wow forum....but i still think wow will still be the most played mmo for a long time(and if you hear so much people saying they are going to quit wow for lotro, how come do they have less players that people still playing EQ1...doesnt really make sence to me)

You mean 7.5 million, Blizzard lied and put 10 million on the website. :) I work there, I know what they are talking about, as a matter of fact I know how many different people are playing.

Chinese: 2.6 million

America: 3.7 million

Europe: .9 million

Other: .3 million

Sorry to tell you the truth, but Lotro I believe has 2 million players last time I heard my fellow Blizzard employees that interveiwed them! :) And Blizzard only has 7.5 million. We lied and my friend Mike Venessa had to put that on Blizzard Website. :) Cheers!

It's not, you obviously haven't looked to see if it is legal... yes, you can lie about how many people there are in a game... Just like if some celebrity lies about there age, is that illegal, You, sir need to shut up until you really know what the law is... We used to have 10 million but when people found out how much BC was a dissapointment was that's when it went down to 7.5 million people... :) You need to look at the law again mister! :D

You'll find I have. A company can not lie about something that will attract more customers, in Blizzard's case more subscribers.

WoW has 12+ million players, I think the only time It will go below 7.5 is if AoC and WAR do very well.

Even then WoW will still be on top.

What he is saying is true... BLizzard does not have 12 million. We have 7 million and dropping! And if anybody sues us for that we could always make 5 million accounts and then lie about it! To be honest, ive played wow for about 3 yrs, and despite the additional content & half assed expansions, im bored to tears by it. Lotro is a breath of fresh air for anyone ground down by the wow grindfest. I spent ten hours once gettin my fishing skill up and felt like toppin myself. But lotro is sheer joy, even if you spent a day cooking and farming(with breaks to play the loot outside the local pub) If more people finally get wise and move over from wow, it wont be 12 mill 4 long.

I think it would be extrememly easy for Blizzard to know exactly how many active accounts they have for their game.

Also, lying is false advertising, if they lie an get caught they could potentially be sued by 12 million people.

Age of Conan, the new mmo with a non stand and swing combat system, will probably kick ass.....and stop saying lotro will kick their ass when they have less player playing their game than people still playing EQ1

Darkfall is an exact copy of oblivion except with attaking on Mounts, building cites, building ships, able to climb mountains. Fair combat like Oblivion combat, able to creat your own weapons and armor. Able to capture cities and a world that holds 10,000 people with 6 races to capture. :D

What Turbine REALLY needs to do is add a diffrent combat system where you have to aim in order to attack, like aiming your bow, and defending yourself by pressin a button. Like Oblivion combat! The game would be PERFECT with Oblivion combat. And also NO AGRO FIELDS! So if an Orc see's you from far away they will ome in a group and attack. You shoiuld also be able to attack on a mount but decreases your defence by ALOT! Just a suggestion. :)

Lotro dev team can make a lot of errors when uploading new books but once they sorted out and fixed they always are awsome ^^ maybe i think DOF was a bit weird.. putting pve into pvp im not too much of a fan..

Ok I realy don't care if i'm a nerd i love this game and really can't wait for Moria!!!! but one thing strikes me was he talking about them bringing a huge update every year so say this year its Moria And next year Rohan etc and having chapters being realeased through out the year because if so kool LOTRO is getting really really bigger and better:)
