Part of it screams "hipster coffee shop with hipster 'art' display". But I think it'd be fun to go at least once. Though EveTaku's blog didn't seem all too convincing.
@Purianite yeah..it def has a hipster vibe to it. As long as you know it going in I think it is OK and kind of fun. Plus I have not been there recently, that video is pretty old and was just as they were opening.

"If the maids acted like, you know, maids. And weren’t ugly with piercings all over their face. Also $12 tip, wtf."
I guess it won't be too bad as long as whatever waitress I get doesn't act like Hannah Minx and doesn't have many unconventional piercings. If I ever go down to LA, I guess I'll give this place a try.
i met Tim burton there! He goes there for buisiness meetings lol he was looking at the edward scissor hands doll and moved it to the front of the shelf XDD
