hello i av too ferrets they r wel looked after nd are kept out side in a cage i was wundering y they keep itching i no its rather mites or flees but how wud u no iv never fleed them before or anything does any 1 no what i should do lol write back please thanks nicolax

They like to scratch themselves for no reason, though fleas and mites are always a possiblity, especially if you keep them outside.

How often are you bathing them? And they aren't outside animals.. they should be kept indoors. what material are they in?

@SweetStrawberryxo I have my 7, They get a bath every 1-2 depending on what they happen to get into. But three is to long, and even if i don't use shampoo they willingly get into the shower with me they love the water.And clean dirt baths are amazing for there skin and oils, along with a drop of olive oil.

@SweetStrawberryxo It depends on every ferret just like people. I've had them for 4 years all 6 of them are fine and have beautiful coats with a bath every 2 months. Or once a month if they decided to get into something they aren't supposed to the water doesn't strip the oils the shampoos do.
