  • Everyone... He said he's going to COOK it!! Damn stfu when you all think you know it all. The heat kills the worms AND the larvae and they ARE harmless to us unless there not cook. I wouldn't eat that fish but still it's not going to hurt him.

  • look at the way this guy man handles that gross shit .. like he's bear grylls or somethin

  • do tape worms get in to your body through ur skin?

  • anyone know if this guy is still alive?

  • look for a different swamp to fish or ask for the foodstamps

  • you're a fucking dumbass that's not even a tapeworm.

  • Is it safe to touch?

  • You'r going to eat the fish? Well let me tell you something, go to a doctor now, the egg are in the fish meat dumb ass, and you should probably get a megaloblastic animia by B12 deficiency that can get you to a sub acute combine degeneration that can leave you paralyzed and crazy (dementia).

  • I would be careful as many parasitic worms begin as microscopic in size and then grow to visible sizes so it could actually get inside you without you seeing it, just don't stick your hands in your mouth.

  • tapeworms enter the fish by ingestion and not through the gills :)

also the black spots you saw are probably Ichthyophthirius multifilis, its a cestode.

haha I hope you washed your hands thoroughly and cooked the fish real well before you ate it.. these parasites CAN enter the human bodies and infect them as well. So be careful.

  • tapewprms do get in your body

  • AND YET YOU COOKED AND EAT THAT FISH....

  • tapewoms wont get in your body.... lol

  • @rawrvolution trololo

  • Yup, just cutting up fish and seeing there insides, playing with tape worms. Just an ordinary thing I do in my spare time. :D

  • Bass tatse pretty good actually

  • Hey, great enthusiasm while inspecting the contents of this fish. Did you figure out what the black spots are? I see these often on usually small fish caught in contaminated urban water sources. Yeah, they are pretty gross.

  • this video is funny becaus it's disgusting :D

  • LOL look at this tape worm now i am REALLY going to eat this fish.

he said so happy and joyful. LOL xD xD

(YUCK never to eat fish again)

  • Great video...NOW I WILL NEVER EAT FISH AGAIN..... LOL J/K

  • @vikingsman217. The fish was gut hooked and bleeding badly. Had to take it :(

  • Why didn't you catch and release those fish

  • this is not a tapeworm, tapeworms are segmented, this parasite is not.

  • DUDE, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU NOT WEARING GLOVES. JEEZ

  • LOL!!!! you are actually having fun with the worms!!!

  • To quote the humorist, Dave Barry "we should all brush up on tapeworms from time to time" ... they all have indirect life cycles that rely on an intact food web. If the fish in your lakes and streams don't have tapeworms, that's a sign that something is amiss in the local food web. The presence of tapeworms in wild animals indicate that the ecology is healthy and local food-chains are functioning properly.

  • @microfilariae True indeed...my friend true indeed :)

  • for some reason, I like this. *Because of the blood*

  • Thanks alot you just put me off fish for life, lol.

  • a guy we knew thought he has celiac disease for years even Doctors told him. but he kept loosing weight, couldn't eat anything etc... then he was tested for parasites/ worms and BINGO... the cause of his long term suffering discovered

  • It would be easier to see the tape worm move if the camera was more steady. I wouldn't eat any tape worm or eggs. Some fish are less prone to worms like Wild Alaskan salmon I hear. Thanks for sharing

  • @pang. I agree with u

  • Vegetarians are promoting this as a gross-out video to scare people away from eating meat or fish. Fuck them. If you cook the fish properly the worm and it's eggs are dead. That's why the human race stands on two feet and makes fires.

  • @Pangolinx1 I don't know what u r talking about. This looks delicious.

  • all i can say is cool but sick

  • I love how you just talk to us like it was not even ugly for you =D

  • im going to feed u this!!! and then it will get in your system

  • And I Thought my office was messy!

  • GROSS! this is why I dissect any fish filet before I eat it. I believe I caught some worm from my pet frogs:( frogs are dying too and doc is deworming ME. WTF? No more froggies for this fish lover.

  • harmless?...dumbass

  • @sciencekid Yes..harmless.Show me a worm that survied being cooked and then parasatized a human.Any case would be the cause of not properly cooking or fully cooking the fish. You'd be shocked how many fish including ones sold in stores and resturaunt have worms and larva.....dumbass

  • Thanks for the video! I have been worried about tapeworms and I wanted to knwo what they looked like!

  • it does matter if u cook it and clean it

  • I find this difficult to masturbate to.

  • ive pulled a whole minnow out of a walleyes stomach...if that counts

  • mmmm tasty!

  • that fish was fucked lol

  • Isn't tapeworms dangerous to eat they get caught in ur intestines and start getting bigger and bigger and it's bad please respond I want to know

  • @MuskRatHD yeah it is. its deadly. watch the tyra episode the tapeworm diet or even just the first part. its nastyyyy

  • In my Shouting voice "CAMERA GUYS SUCKS" Thank you

  • ...wait a minute...something's fishy going on here...

  • That was actually quite interesting.

  • 2:23 i got a chuckle out of him saying you guys see it with you naked eye

  • i'm a culinary student and... the stuff moving on the outside of the fish isn't the tapeworms but parasites... i forgot the exact names for it but... it is found on almost any fish when caught and laid out in the open for a period of time (3-4 hrs) thats why it isn't good to eat a fish raw right when you catches it... or ceviche style... it is best to have it frozen then thawed out then eat it like sashimi if u preferred but yeah... cooking it will kill the parasites...

  • I sure hope you washed your hands.

  • love how he just downsized the whole situation making you feel more comfortable about eating fish. I'll still eat fish, just the ones from known lakes

  • Well , add in lots of garlic , fresh red chillies , lots of onions , leeks and salt n pepper with some vermouth or dry sherry , stock and asian soy - cook for 20 minutes on high heat - wallah - you have steamed fish

  • I was told to cook bass as much as possible if caught during the warmer season because they carry worms. The worms supposedly die off during the winter time so fish caught during winter is much cleaner for consumption

  • nice disecting! we did this at school! very cool(:

  • Hey how do smallies taste???

  • @saltycreefer Don't know never ate one and never will

  • @judd0112 Why do you say in your video that you are gonna eat it ?

  • @saltycreefer I'm filming. That's my friend eddy!! He will eat anything!!

  • @judd0112 Is Eddy a dog?

  • Those tapeworms are very harmful to human if fish meat is eaten uncooked so becareful!!! I just researched online.

  • So disgusting, Yet...entertaining.

  • Beauty Of A Fish What Was It????

  • don't touch because that thing can lay eggs in your hand

  • Did you re-use them for bait? haha

  • i wouldnt even want to touch it

  • @JUDD0112 Hey Judd did you do research on this, i thought tapeworm grew inside of you in your intestines, at some point you said that it got in by the gills,,i am actually goingto research this right now , first time for me!

ONCE again nice friggin catch! i am bringing my son to fish for the first time this summer cant wait! i hope to get monsters like this!

  • i was watching halo reach vids and.....how the fk did i end up here?

  • i hope you both get tapeworms. dumb asses

  • Great video! Def. gonna look for that next time I clean a fish

  • I take it none of the people on here grossed out have dissected anything? This is highly educational!

The desire to poke the world and see how it works isn't a 'liberal' or 'conservative' mindset, or at least it shouldn't be.

  • @agerestrictionforatb I had no idea that bass could get tape worms until now and I've been bass for the past 6 years now and it's some damn good fish. It kinda grossed me out a little bit when I watched this video but then think back on all the times I've caught bass and ate them and have had no problems at all what so ever from eating them so I'm gonna continue on doing it.

  • I wonder if Gollum had tapeworms from eating so many raw fish.

  • so that what thing crawling out of my sushie wasn't pasta?

  • What the crap is wrong with u! Playing with tapeworms you can get infected too you know?

  • the black dots moving on the fine is sea lice they are on a lot of the smallmouth i get

    up north (cool vid nice)

  • Why do people not find this fascinating? Deaths a part of life, and eating meat entails slaughtering animals. Let's be a little more realistic people.

  • nice video dude !

  • Your fingers are sexy

  • This guy is NOT human. That was nasty. Who PLAYS with internal organs?! Even if it was a fish, GROSS. if you make another film (please dont) leave out the bloody intestines!

  • @OreosRoxYourWorld hes not a pussy like you. how do you think people get the meat out of the fish or animal or do autopsy reports. quit being a pussy hoe

  • @OreosRoxYourWorld i see what the fish is eating so i can fish with the kind of bait

    or lure

  • did u say ur gunna eat the fish??? brave

  • @runes3ape tapeworm wont do anything if it is cooked, the fish was still fine to eat

  • wow bare hands..ur a brave man

  • i have to say, i almost barfed.

  • i think its better if you gut them at the lake/river

  • I could shure go for some Mountain Dew....

  • @Giggerbar lmao.

  • Now this is what YouTube was meant for...

  • iLikee Yaah Personality =]

  • haha, death burger. saw a peta add in an airplane mag about how catching fish on a metal hook and impaling worms is cruel. evidently 5000 years of human culture based on fishing is cruel and immoral. jesus some ppl are stupid. greetings from new hartford.

  • @Praying4tidalWaves i agree, those peta bitches need to learn

  • So do the butchers actually take these tape worms out before they sell the fish?

Because is they don't I think im going to puke.

  • @Megoraxos the parasites are in the organs... you dont eat the organs, you eat the meat, and they have to make sure everything is good with the meat before selling it.

  • if this dude was a republican he wouldn't know how to use a camera dog. Nice name coltstang I hope you still have a few teeth left hahaha

  • Cook food well and beware of Sushi.

  • its a stupid fucking fish god i hate pussy ass liberals.

if u dont like the video dont watch it!!!!

  • @coltstang123 Thank u colt

  • @coltstang123 You mad bro? trololol?

  • where is this? Burlington is that in Canada? The black dots I see a lot as well, they are skin parasites

  • @OntarioBassFishing Burlington Connecticut USA new England !

  • @judd0112 im from ct :D

  • Useless human experiments

    Experiment on yourselves.

    That is all ;D

  • @jittering4peta The fish was goin to die because he swallowed the hook and was bleeding badly so instead of just throwing him back to float around on the surface we took him home u moron. Go have a veggie burger and watch your favorite show dancing with the stars

  • @judd0112 Of course I'll have my veggie burger, unlike your death burger. So it's a win win for me.

  • @judd0112 i hate it when that happens. i always feel so bad when i reel in a fish and try to get the hook, only to have it bleed to death in my hands.

  • @judd0112 oh snap you burned him good :D lol

  • @judd0112 i lol'ed my ass off at the comment

  • @jittering4peta WTF they where going to eat them, you people need to get off the net man! Of course this guy is a fisherman and EATS what he catches, , This is not an experience, the guy found a tape worm in a bass which is not common! So before you open your big mouth saying that they are doing experiment friggin listen to the clip, these guys are fascinated by this! So get of your ass and enjoy life and stop getting on our nerves!!! Judd AWESOME man, I just really impressed with the catch!!

  • ......Um why do you insist to eat ? And then you got a more craving for fish? Why do you like to pick on diffesless animals?

  • @SirDBZ Ok jackass. 1st of all the fish swallowed the dam hook and he was bleeding profusly so instead of just throwing the fish back to float on the top of the water we took it home. I don't eat fish. Get a life loser

  • i don't like to eat bass only white bass but in walleye or on there scales have like tumors on there fin and body

  • WOW> I have been fishing for 10 years and I have encounter one Bass with tapeworm in it. That was horrible. I decided not to eat fish anymore. FIsh and Release.

  • this is why i dont eat fish and pork ^^

wash ur hands u dont want that in u

  • what was the black stuff in the other fish?? are you going to eat that to? because i wouldn't grose!!

  • The tape worm is harmless only if you cook the fish 100% but do not play with them they do infect humans and can cause Cysticercosis which is basicly laying it's eggs in you. Also if you do not cook it 100% then you could end up with the tapeworms in your small intestines. They are a parasite...they want a host.

  • @ahalawathage aswesome thanks for the great info!!!!

  • Is it REALLY harmless? O__o Thank you for the video, VERY interesting,

  • Thank god he said that if you cook these fish you're gonna be all right, cause otherwise I'd be afraid to eat fish again.

  • fish Killa

  • @ManGaStyle1993 Your country has no money. Losers

  • @judd0112

you dont need to kill fish for this and i dont care about money they mean nothing to me anyway

  • @ManGaStyle1993 Ok well do u know anything about fishing? Well here's the story. I don't eat fish just so u know. Anyway. We were fishing with rubber worms and the bass swallowed the hook and we tried l get the hook out butte fish was bleeding and was going to die so instead of throwin it back in to float away and die we took it home and used it for science

  • fish killa

  • Fish killa

  • @h3aveNsHaZe Thanks man. We try

  • Get gloves man!

  • @buignerry Yeah right!!!

  • would it be yellowish or something? .....why do these things even exist? there is no use of them, there just parasites

  • Ive been to this bait shop. If you don't know where it is, then you'll probably end up driving right by it. If you like fishing and you live in Bristol you'll never forget where it is, because its probably the best place to get live bait.

  • @crabbypants1978 Your right. Skippers is still there. The sign fell down in a big wind storm though

  • i never heard somebody sound so happy talking about tape worms!!

  • Yeah right. That's my friend ed. He's always happy

  • found tapeworms in my canned sardines, but ate it anyway, they were hopefully cooked

  • Yeah I hear that

  • don't worry thats just extra protein lol

  • DONT TOUCH IT!! =O

  • My pet toad just spit one of these up. It was weird. I thought it was tape worm, this video confirmed it, I never knew they could be that small.

  • Yeah they r pretty nasty

  • As interesting as this is--love the upbeat commentary, by the way--it kind of makes you think about how complex the ecosystem is. All of those parasites in one fish... and like he said, these things are in pretty much every species.

  • Yeah eddy is a good commentator he runs a bait shop in Bristol ct
