@angelsbellsdemons 10y olds shouldn't comment on what they believe to be fact. the vampires you speak of, ones who live amongst the light don't exists anymore. only those who can withstand certain amounts of sunlight can stay in it for that period of time ONLY. and this isn't twilight..they dont look like emos or glow in the sunlight and try to sex you up. They will kill you if you are to ever encounter them and actually find out they are a vamp. Dont comment on Vampirism if your ignorant of it.

@TksTSK2012 Actually in Bram Stoker's Dracula, which spawned the tales of modern day vampires, Dracula could walk in the sun he was just weakened. The dying in the sunlight came from F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu, which is based off of Dracula. He changed the end from the count being killed by being stabbed to death to being tricked into not hiding from the sunlight. He changed it to avoid copy right infringement.
