I hope NERD don't start sounding like Black Eyed Peas. I know a lot of people are making this comparison but it is hard to avoid it. Pharrell seems intent on making music that has an energy when performed live, but I hope this doesn't affect the quality of the music, because on this performance, I'm not entirely convinced "Instant Gratification" will continue the fresh but credible input NERD brings to music. I could well be proved wrong, there's still the rest of the album I'm yet to hear.
