lmao at the ending. Zabs is just all kinds of cool guy. I saw him play for the first time in DC last June, top lad. After the gig, he went on our Club scene's official forums, and posted how awesome it was to play that night. That's just a class act. So little of the DJs do that sort of thing. And that isn't just one case, he seems to communicate through videos w/ fans. Like I saw how he apologized for not being able to play during a certain gig. All around good guy.

actually is cheaper to be a Virtual Vj than buy a pair of Pioneer vdj x1 and a Pioneer SVM-1000 AV Mixer.......so traktor, serato, ableton, virtual dj, cue, bmp studio, etc....those are good choises for new dj's who does not have a lot of money...but they also work perfect to pro djs who want to get a little more creative.. i use tuntables and cdj'a for live performance...but in the club where i got my recidence i use virtual dj to mix video and it works really freaking good XD......

Don't rely on youtube, hit forums and talk to people, there is TONS of stuff to learn.(not to discourage you.) But programs like reason and fruityloops are generally good for beginners. There are more advanced programs like logic pro(apple only), cubase, ableton live and pro tools. To name a few. You have lots of research ahead of you friend good luck.

yeah, you can use the computer music software. But if your good you don't need a computer and you can do it with the setup that this guy has. Or if you just want to scratch I would recommend some good ole' vinyl, and a turntable... Go to GuitarcenterDOTcom and look at DJ stuff. Then go to package deals. they sell a couple of really good beginner turntables and a mixer and some headphones for about 399... Which is a really good price. So if you want to start I would start there...

You got mp3 witch means that you can play mp3 cd's, and you can ajust the jog wheel sensitivity. and you got a brighter display than the mk2, the mk2 and mk1 got 50 dots and the mk3 got 100 dots.
