5 years ago I heard NOFX for the very first time on a TV show. T'was Probably one of the most life-changing events of my life. I went from Fleetwood Mac and Deep Purple to NOFX, Anti-flag, Bad Religion, Descendents, Pennywise etc overnight. Everything I am now can be traced back to that night. I can still remember it, which is rare and kind of awesome! These guys, no matter what the fuck anyone thinks of them, did something pretty amazing to my life.
Just cause you found NOFX Doesn't mean DP and Fleetwood Mac are bad, I get your point on finding Punk. I found Punk from Bad Religion (Who I love with an unhealthy Passion), from them, I found The Dead Kennedys, NOFX, Rancid, Pennywise, Minor Threat, The Misfits, The Adicts etc. All the Punk I listen to now, sprouted from BR. But I LOVE Zeppelin, Hendrix, Sabbath, Alice Cooper. Classics are the shit too, bro. Don't dump em.

I went from Fleetwood Mac and Deep Purple to NOFX, Anti-flag, Bad Religion, Descendents, Pennywise etc overnight. Everything I am now can be traced back to that night. I can still remember it, which is rare and kind of awesome! These guys, no matter what the fuck anyone thinks of them, did something pretty amazing to my life.

Just cause you found NOFX Doesn't mean DP and Fleetwood Mac are bad, I get your point on finding Punk. I found Punk from Bad Religion (Who I love with an unhealthy Passion), from them, I found The Dead Kennedys, NOFX, Rancid, Pennywise, Minor Threat, The Misfits, The Adicts etc. All the Punk I listen to now, sprouted from BR. But I LOVE Zeppelin, Hendrix, Sabbath, Alice Cooper. Classics are the shit too, bro. Don't dump em.

Hey dude, yeah, I totally agree! I was just showing the contrast. I still love all those bands, I reckon it's growing up with those bands that preps our taste in music for punk rock later on :)
I've got Rumours on vinyl hanging on my wall, because I'm punk as fuck... :P
