What I want to know is what the hell is she going to do once she is off of the opiate meds that help to control her pain? She has a disease that creates such pain that she is unable to do normal activities and live life without constant pain. That disease isn't going away, so how is she going to control the pain sans opiates? Let me guess! Docs are going to put her on some BS antidepressant like Lyrica. I've experienced both opiates & psych meds. Coming off of psych meds is the absolute worst!
Actually she did a lot better off the opiates. There is a condition called Hyperalgesia that affect opiate dependent patients and actually increases the level of pain while they are taking large amount of narcotics.
@opiatescom That is great news! I am quite familiar with being opiate dependant. I have been taking opiate medication for a couple of years. Luckily, I don't need much of a change in my dosage and what I take is still working well for me without any uncomfortable or unpleasant side effects. I wish this woman the best. It is great to know that she is doing so well now.
but seriously, this girl has a debilitating disease and doesn't want this stuff. there are many different types of opioid users and we can't judge them all the same.. or judge them at all. Unless you have walked in their shoe's, keep the negativity to yourself.
fentanyl is nuts. i was doing lots of oxycontin before i neven tried it but i took a 100mcg/h patch all at once (the old ones with the gel inside) and thankfully i didnt die but i was super high all day long ! these are no joke
