the best time to go to Lake Powell is in August because the water is so warm! the bad thing is.. August is monsoon season. I have had 3 years of experiencing bad weather at lake Powell. it's bad. it's worse when you are on the lake 35 miles from halls Crossing. and boat is getting soaked and wind. lake Powell can be such a beast!!
