No, they aren't a jug band..more of a Django Gypsy swing jazz than anything else..good young players..met them a few years back..shared the stage at a local festival..talking with one of the guys, he told me the story of how they chose the name for the band..Muppet's video of Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas..so taken with it that they decided to call themselves a jug band..misleading, yes, but I don't think that, at the time, any of them knew what a real jug band was..whimsical choice.

I saw these guys in Alaska last year. They're awesome. Great fiddling, great mandolin, tremendous vocals, and they've got a friendly stage presence.
