OK--this wasn't with the full band, I don't think. They have microphones in their hands...they weren't used to performing like this. Give them a break--they've very talented. They are amazing dancers--but the mics kind of held them back.

The choreography is all takeoffs from boy bands like NSYNC. It's funny if you get it. All the songs are just jokes that are fake-serious. And the singing wasn't bad in this performance (this camera manipulated it a lot), but even if it was, that can be blamed on the terrible piano.

Don't blame them too much; they were performing in very different conditions here than they did onstage. They had to hold bulky microphones while singing and dancing - a lot to keep your mind on when all you have as accompaniment is an out-of-tune piano.

We live in Manhattan and we saw the Altar Boyz last night. They were great. I would highly recommend their show. I've yet to see a video or review that does them justice. It was a very professional performance. The music and singing was, well, great(instead of using a silly word, like "awesome". I'd give the overall show - sing, acting, script and music the highest rating.
