  • I just had to bookmark your song, so I can find it again. I really liked it. Fred Jack, Former Great Lakes fisherman.

  • I would call this song an atmospheric masterpiece!

Not only nice - it is brilliant! Congratulations!

  • GROSSARTIG!!!

Düster, dramatisch, melancholisch - wie die See...!

  • Great voice! Great song!!

  • Great song! Cheers!

  • Very good...

  • really good stuff

  • Moby Dick is my favorite novel--has been for the last 30 years. This song you've written is pitch perfect for that masterwork. A dread sense of fate hangs over every verse, mixed with Stubb's humorous/heroic acceptance. It's a cannibal universe, mate! I'm going to steal your song. Cheers. Wonderful job.

  • Marvelous!

  • Well done! I was wondering... could you possibly send me the lyrics to your song? I teach 10 graders in Ohio and am about to start them on Moby Dick and I would like to play your song with a handout with the words. Would that be okay?

  • Hi dwarnow,

I added the lyrics to the info on the right hand side. You can definitely use it for teaching purposes.

    Cheers

  • Wow! Have you got an agent?

  • You are good . hope to see you on tour sone

  • You are brilliant, I've faved this. I recommend reading about the Essex disaster (what Moby Dick is based on, although I never read Moby Dick or saw the movie). The book In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex by Nathaniel Philbrick. It's a page turner.

  • Chilling...

  • I would love to have a CD of this!

  • i am RELATED TO THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK HERMAN MELVILLE

  • Moby Dick is one of my Top 3 Books of all time. It's ironic that MD almost destroyed Melville as a writer and now it's a Classic. How are you related to H Melville? Do you have any Melvillian stuff?? Autographs, personal library books?

  • Gran bella canzone. Please write the text. 5 stars.

  • Hey ol' boy !!!!....It's Ted. I'm under the name Fingersgalore1.

It's the one I'm the happiest with right now. It's dedicated to three fisherman from Yarmouth, NS and Stan Rogers.
