  • this is about 1,000,000,000,000 times better than the original

  • @MayaMeows Thanks for rubbing it in! Seriously though, I bet they were amazing. Glad you got to enjoy it. Great Shows are worth living for...Love those unforgettable nights. Feel the same about my nights seeing Crash Worship.

  • erichelios got it spot on

  • Which of their albums is this from? I was always an industrial fan but saved Coil for last. Glad now I did cause I'm not burnt out and they are new 2 me. YEAH!!!!

  • @RogerPainter Horse Rotorvator, it's at the start of the video.

  • @RogerPainter But you missed them when they starting performing again! NYC 2001 was amazing as was Montreal later on. I will never forget those nights for as long as I am alive.

  • @AxiomaticInfinity "Empty of what? Empty of a self or anything pertaining to a self."

  • R.I.P. John - Thanks for having lived among us.

  • One of my favs from Coil...but I never knew it was a cover! Now I'm off to check out the original.

  • RIP to another great band. Their music lives, but their ability to create more is diminished.

  • you can here Mark Almond as backing vocals in this song.

  • One of the very, very few songs where I find the cover to be better than the original.

    just immortal

  • "And who in her lonely sleep?"

    R.I.P. Sleazy

  • great.

  • Oh, my! Good shit. Neat cover. Thank for this.

  • I don´t know if this version is better than the original one. I really love both of them, but Coil means something magic. Everything that they touch becomes immortal. Thanx Jhonn and Peter.

  • COIL is amazing

  • Do you ever think? - Nah!

Don't bother with an answer we all know it already. Keep taking the drugs!

  • Retarded Tosser hiding behind a blank profile!

  • They made a really really nice cover =)

  • Cloth-eared dildo.

  • Drug fucked, delusional, depressive, dis-functional little douche!

  • I told you to stay away from the internet, mother.

  • Oooooh! Scary! HaHaHa!

Well that's the drug fucked and delusional diagnoses proved!

  • It was a joke, you know.

But still, nice to have a sad old man stalking me on my channel page.

  • marc almond on backing vocals

  • Thanks for posting this, this is my favorite album of all time. I have it on vinyl, but can't find it on c.d. or mp3.I would be forever in your debt if you could post"The Anal Staircase".

  • I never knew it was originally by Leonard Cohen until recently... I read the liners of Horse Rotorvator(the album this comes from).... Coil did incredible with this. Been listening to the originals now.

  • This might be my favorite Leonard Cohen cover ever.

  • famous blue raincoat by tori amos is good in my opinion as well
