@Waxxdrop I said it's a WWII style so that you'd understand what type of helmet it is. You do get good protection so long as you're strapped on securely but it lacks a visor to protect against bugs, dust and act as a windshield.

You normally have to wear them with riding glasses but to me, that is a crazy way to go about gear.

I've seen people fall head first with those helmets at 40mph although it was more than a slide and it took most of the shock. Many of them are DOT approved as well.

@MisTaHTaKi because real bikers care for the safety of others. It's just common sence to wear a skid lid! It's why they are called what they are. They save lives. Admittedly if people want to ride without one, no one is gonna force them to wear it. But you can't get up to over a ton on a skateboard or bicycle normally can you. and look how much damage that does when you come off one of them.

I have a Yoshi rs5 on my rr and it sounds almost identical at high rpm. I just winded 2nd gear out this morning in a tunnel on the way to work let off at 14k and it crackled a bit. Pure sex!!

I think Honda's CBR600s sound fucking amazing. probably one of the best. I've ridden suz, kawa, yama, honda, and the duke but nothing gets me going like the honda's sheer resemblance of a Formula One car when it's rolling in the 13-14+rpms ;]
