everybody that says this is not true are not digging for the truth. The evidence for this is thousands of documents and political consequences on history. To deny this is like deny the holocaust or the moon landing.

unfortunately its all baloney. The Inquisition only tried confessed Catholics, never Protestants, Jews or Muslims. Much of the scandal and misunderstanding against the Inquisition is rooted in grossly exaggerated numbers and ideas written by someone named Montenas. Many of these myths were recently brought to light by the non-catholic BBC in a documentary called The Myth of the Spanish Inquisition. In its so called heydays of the 15-16th Century only about 40 or 50 Catholics were put to death.

first of all, most were not invented by the Catholic Church but had been around since roman times and prob. earlier.

You also have to make sure, that whatever you relate to the Spanish Inquisition isn't something that you saw in German/Protestant torture chambers. After all, most of the witch trials were conducted in Central Europe and in Protestant areas.

Also the torture methods used by the spanish inqustions were alot more brutal and much more "inventive" that simply the crucfixion in Roman times

i was a catholic member before but now i realized those things i need to learn and change,i also realized that im being fooled to believe in man's tradition created by the church and not the bible,you see,if the church live with what the bible said, there will be no such things like in these videos but instead these people live based on what the tradition based faith and not the word of God. mind you, there is one group that shows so much love between members

the biggest problem with not only the catholic church by christianity in general, is that it cannot and will not change. it holds beliefs and ideals sacred which are brutal and outdated. how many times has your minister preached about not changing the word of the bible? in fact, i'll extend the unwillingness to change to all monotheistic belief systems.
