@DuffBassGNR2 If that happens, it is either not compatible with Beta 1.3_01 or you didn't delete the META-INF folder in Minecraft.jar.

You dont put it in your minecraft.jar, you put it in the .minecraft folder.

If you cant figure out how to click and drag files, then i cant help you there. If your problem is that you get an error from winrar when you drag it in you probably have minecraft open. Close minecraft and try again, if it still doesnt work open the task manager, go to processes and end the javaw.exe process. Or you could just restart your PC.

You know how when you search run 1 program pops up and you use it. For me i only see one program and its Restart Runtime. Is that the same program?

No that isnt it, you should see it just after clicking start, if you cant find it just go to the folder manually.

Yeah your minecraft process is probably still open. Close your minecraft window if you havent already, if that deosnt change anything open the task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) go to processes and end the javaw.exe process. Or just restart your PC.

Lmao? your account was banned? If you used this on an SMP server that doesnt allow flying mods its not my fault you got banned from that server, and i didnt mess up your minecraft. You were the one that didnt check the mod's compatibility, the game gets updated 1-2 times a week and im not going to devote hours everyweek updating videos for people that cant think for themselves.

and if your client crashing is what you think being "banned" is, go back to the bin folder (the one in this video) and delete your minecraft.jar and your version file. then start minecraft again.

so now I'm sad that fly doesn't work with 1.2.3, but also happy that I saw that disclaimer before downloading. Can someone point me in the direction of a simple client fly hack for single player? I just need it for making bridges and suspension tunnels.

I think the only way to get it right now is to downgrade to 1.2.2. Just google minecraft.jar 1.2.2 and find a place to download it. Then replace the minecraft.jar that you saw in this video.

Bleh, nevermind, the client got updated to 1.2.3_2 right after the fly mod got updated to 1.2.3_1, but the good news is the original developer of the fly mod picked it up again so it will probably be updated soon.

Well its a good thing you followed instructions and made a backup of your minecraft.jar, simply delete the minecraft.jar you changed, and rename the minecraft - copy.jar to minecraft.jar, that will bring your game back to normal.
