  • I would use a two step/anti lag. Set @ 5,800 with my green . I cut 1.5 60fts all day being easy

  • Do you antilag the Green or just stutterbox when you launch? I noticed if I just do a 5,500 stutterbox with my FP Green on my 1G, the 6-puck just bites and bogs down the car.

  • 10.8 on street tires ??? How ?? Care to share. The best I've ever ran on fp green is 11.6 @125.9 on street tires

  • @awdmonster1904

They had enough hook to twist the clutch splines on the input shaft, got me, just a good set i guess. what you have isnt always the key, alot is in the driver, listen to my shifts. pedal never leaves the floor from stage to the traps.

  • @racerx55y ecmlink v3 "NO LIFT TO SHIFT" FTW

  • @Dert666

lol actually it was V2, rev limiter at 8750, shift at 8500

  • @racerx55y Link none the less!!!

  • how is it a stock head if it has 272 cams? cams are part of the head durrr. lol but awesome video i 2 just ordered an externally gated fp green for my 92 tsi awd.

  • This video gives me hope. I have a Green bolted to a ported evo3 manifold, new head with 272s, springs and retainers, stock 6-bolt bottom end. Competition clutch, stock drivetrain incuding 4 bolt rear LSD. FMIC, 255, 850cc's, AFPR, Link, N/T TB, bunch of stuff deleted. I am hoping to reliably pull a mid-low 11 on the Green on pump gas and maybe meth in full street trim. Reliably is the key word lol I would love to pull this engine out in one piece, still capable to run, same with the tranny :)

  • woops nvm i see you already answered the question for someone else!!

  • what boost on the FP Green? I'm shooting for 10's this year on my FP Green, but I also have a forged bottom end / head with springs/retainers/FP2 cams. Also going on street tires.. so this gives me a lot of hope.

I'm running E85 on 25psi and best so far was 11.7@123mph shifting slow, not used to my shep trans letting me shift faster :P

I've been worried my FP Green wouldnt get me to 10's but this reassures me!

  • hear how they manage the gasoline, has dsmlink to something like, Greetings

  • @holsetdsm91

30psi falling to 28, 52LBs/min airflow, all that poor green had in it. Link, MLS head gasket,ARP studs, FP manifold, external tial gate, 3" open downpipe, quartermaster clutch, stock valves, springs, and completely stock 6 bolt bottom end. It lasted 6 months of hell 8k miles on the street and about 130 track passes before it blew up :)

  • @rwight10

#2 rod bolts stretched and broke from revving over 8k too much,#2 rod and piston were in pieces scattered down the road for a good 300ft. had a hole in the firewall when it let go, #3 rod was bent, everything else was perfect.

  • @racerx55y standard dsm failure then, eh?

  • @racerx55y

    @racerx55y

Thats amazing! Just curious... how did it go out, bearing/rods knock, just broke into pieces and or just flat out lost all compression?

  • ..... How?

  • @OgCoda its not hard to do :)

  • @OgCoda Its a DSM, not too hard to do. A buddy of mine is running mid 11s on an SAFC, 720 injectors, 255 fuel pump, front mount, 50 trim turbo and 272 cams. We were given a good platform, DSMs have a bad rep because of kids that buy one, beat it the fuck up and destroy it. They can take a beating, don't get me wrong, but eventually with no maintenance every car breaks, no matter what type.

  • @Londil Never heard those words spoken any clearer...

  • @OgCoda easier then you think

  • wtf , dsmpower

  • +1 on dsmpower
