Okay I realize that this you posted this like a month ago but actually he proposes to girls obviously as a joke but it's also his way of telling them that he's comfortable around them now. He's actually pretty shy around people he JUST met so it takes him a while to warm up and once he does he like proposes. It's weirdly funny lol.
