SO this fight obviously sparked lots of comments and debate.....I guess the question is where to draw the line in terms of violence in sports.....do you let guys fight like that with the risk of one guy getting knocked out or do you take fighting out of the game completely....one thing is for sure that opinions vary on the subject....Did Asham just prove he was a superior fighter to Beagle...I guess so...so does that mean next time Beagle uses his stick as a weapon to protect himself??

@Killthesefears yeah it did. Caps were outshot 41-19 and if it weren't for Vokoun it would have been a rout. If it weren't for 2 flukey goals it would have been over in the second period. With Fleury, Crosby, and Orpik out, would a Caps fan really feel good about the next matchup? I wouldn't.
