I don't know if this is global, but I think the scoring for TKD has changed just a bit.

1 point = chest contact

2 points = any spin kick to chest.

3 points = Kick to the head.

4 points = any spinning kick to the head.

When I say spin kicks, I'm saying anything 180 degrees or more.

Are these the newer rules ?

The Hwoarang was composed of young men from aristocratic families, and not only did they train how to fight, but they also learned virtues and Bhuddist values, and were encouraged to build tight bonds among themselves, fight with dignity, etc. Whoa(화花) means "flower", and ancient records say that the boys in the group were beautiful as flowers.

IMHO in real fight we must use our hand also, although WTF contains many hand technique but in WTF tournament hands technique are rarely used, right...??? CMIIW
