Sda is not perfect and their doctrine does have some flaws. They have biblical teachings and one of their flaws is they are Sabbath fanatics. They teach that the mark of the beast in Revelation is Sunday Law and the Seal of God is Sabbath worship. I cannot ascertain that this is true but what I can ascertain is that this has no biblical evidence. To be a genuine SDA one has to accept Ellen White as a prophetess and agree with al her writings including Sunday Law
@Henrydec Actually you don't have to believe in Ellen White, I know that I'm on the fence of her being a true prophet of God, but yet I am a deacon and I'm on the church board.. No one has ever told me that I must believe in Ellen White. It's true that some members put too much into Ellen White, but honestly tell me of a church that has "perfect" members? You can't. It's sad that some members at the way they do, but it isn't morally or ethically correct to judge all SDA by the actions of a few.

With over 40 years of exposure to the SDA religion, and I tell you the truth, it was a horrible experience overall. I found SDA's to be hypocrites, they are not real, a fake,fraud and a phony, verbally abusive, materialistic and cruel. tried to split up my family and left us homeless many times and A multi-billion dollar brainwashing cult business !
Are there groups or organizations that help SDAs leave the cult, and get the help and clarity they need? Where are those people who leave to turn - they need some kind of help because they are so ostracized? I am not an SDA, but I have known some and they are so threatened with being ostracized if they even consider getting out. I hope there is a group that has formed to help ex-members and that they would know how to find it. Prayers for all.

I agree that there needs to be more in this field to help former Adventists recover from years of experience in this church. Leaving the church can be as traumatic as losing a loved one after spending a lifetime with them. They often go through the same 5 stages of grief. Denial, Anger / Resentment, Bargaining, Depression, and Ultimately Acceptance. Many SDA remain SDA, are in Denial.

Heavey shepherding is mans way of doing what the Holy spirit of God does on a one to one in each heart.
