@svberry : I believe so, and he must also be part hard shelled crab to survive buffing that out in the heat we've been having (about 110 heat index daily).
Very nice! The Prairie 29 is one of the nicest pocket trawlers on the used market. Mr. Hargrave designed a great trawler. The Albin 27 was also a nice trawler built around the era of your Prairie. I don't think there are many, if any at all, trawlers (under 30') built today with full-displacement hulls.
@DrTarpon1974 : yes, the Albin is another design people have been all over in. Boats we looked at were the Nordic 26 (to small & no flybridge), Eagle 32 (spectacular boat - but at a high price), Willard 30's (superb, but to much draft to get into the shallows), Mainship & Mainship II (fit the bill but the ones we looked at had old tired engines). We considered everything but kept coming back to the Prairie design and are pleased we did. In the top 5 of satisfactory purchases I've made.
That cream colour is beautiful. Nice boat you have there.

Happy Trails to you all.

She looks great. Nice to hear when someone is really happy with the work being done on their boat. Mario must be super mario.
