Yes - but, if so, it was at a time when Greece as a holiday destination was quite an adventure. And Mykonos was still a pretty innocent place, not yet a wild gay sex resort. Yet the words of Bend It were very daring for 1966, though their exact meaning is slightly mysterious - deliberately so I think.
