Great, I enjoyed the video & the remake tooo.  It was a novelty song from the doowop era...and there were many more. They weren't considered kiddie songs at the time, Itsy Bitsy Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, was by far the biggest novelty hit of this era and the sexiest! There was Alvins Harmmonica, Abdul's Party & Beep Beep along with many others like The Haunted House.

I was surprized to hear this updated & of coarse uptempled version. I can tell that this remake rocks in more the style of the day. This remake has and hasn't got what it takes to make the current playlist, so it would bomb. It's a novelty hit from "58 & to see this recording riding inside todays top 40 is going to take some doing. It's not impossible!....are you reading me Ga Ga.
