I don't think any Liverpool fan expected him to come back and knock in 30 goals a season! I was just happy that he was back, the way he left (or forced out!) wasn't right. He should have had a far better send off. I was totally shocked Rafa brought him back. If it was just to gain favour with the fans well it worked with me!

Been a truly great striker but how ANYONE could think he was going to go back at his age and score regularly is totally beyond me!
