And no breaking up the big three did not cause you to win game 3. They won game 3 because the sens played their best game of the year that night. Anaheim was just too good that year to be beaten.
the #1 on the ducks coaches list was to always have pronger-ned, they would race off to the bench to rest up to always be out when alfie, spezza and heatley were.Everyone was mentioning how that matchup always slowed down the sens line 1.
In game 3 alfie went to line 2 and the ducks couldnt play that matchup, and the sens finally had puck possession.
That strategy was the only way to go against that D and they only did it in game 3.Hence why paddock has been splitting them up alot this year.

Don't blame it on Miller. It was the players in front of him that didn't perform. He was freaking amazing the entire series, especially in the 1-0 Sens victory in game 3. He kept his team in the game when Ottawa could've ran the score up 6-0.
As for that last shot, I think he definitely would've saved it had he seen it coming. He stated afterwards that it "surprised the heck out of him" amd he didn't get a good look at it at all.

Don't blame it on Miller. It was the players in front of him that didn't perform. He was freaking amazing the entire series, especially in the 1-0 Sens victory in game 3. He kept his team in the game when Ottawa could've ran the score up 6-0.
As for that last shot, I think he definitely would've saved it had he seen it coming. He stated afterwards that it "surprised the heck out of him" amd he didn't get a good look at it at all.

Just to say, im not a sabres fan but do u really think that the senators deserved to go the the cup? The senators didn't even sell out all of their playoff home games. The sabres sold out almost all of their regular season games and they sold out all of their playoff games. On top of that, they had 8,000 people standing outside the HSBC arena watching the game. and some of thats games it was raining and still prople showed up. just think of who deserved to go to the cup more.

Joecool, Buffalo didn't sell out this round's playoff tickets. I think they were around 35 tickets short...it just happened to be the Sabres team that never showed up.
The Sens deserved to get to the finals just by how they played, not how many tickets they sold. It's called heart, something the Buffalo team took for granted this year. You can't expect to just ride the President's trophy to the finals.

Buffalo defense layed down and didnt hit Alfredson and he scored. The opposite last year when Pominville walked past Alfredson for a SH series winner.
Buffalo was hungrier against Ottawa, this year the Senators were, and it showed how it ended.

As a Leaf fan, the Senators deserved this! I dont think any other team could of handleed Pittsburgh and New Jersey then Buffalo the way the Senators did. They deserve to be in the finals. An if Ottawa wins the cup(which they might) and any Leafs fan says "well they didnt beat us" all I have to say to that is they beat 3 teams that the Leafs wouldnt have beaten this year!
