My high score on the PC version of Wetrix Classic is over 24 million. Is this the classic on the N64 version? I haven't played the N64 version in many, many years. That's annoying and distracting how the whole board is moving around like that. I don't remember that. In the PC version it stays static so you can concentrate easier.

If you have lots of pool(lake), and breeds ducks keep them live, don't dry it. then u'll get high points.

I mean keep lots of lake full, let the main(usually the biggest) lake be dried . An area be bumped, an area to dry, lots lake to keep. My highest point is 9414793. I kept 4 lakes.

This game is awesome.

My friend's record on classic is about 14,500,000 points without the use of smart bombs. He did it by making 5 rubber ducks in the west corner, a 2 upper perimeter wall, and a waste pile for bombs in the east corner. If you do this and never slam down the uppers you can keep going without earthquakes. Only problem is the ice cubes and mines, you need a bit of luck getting the fireballs in sync.

Also if you get 'OK' on all game types you can use a different set of blocks. =D

My high score on this is just over 8,000,000, if you google in wetrix high scores someone claims to have 105,000,000! I'd say "total crap" or they're using cheats, which in my opinion makes the score invalid anyway.

you play a lot differently from me, but it seems you make it very complicated. you can simplify it and score much higher. but it was real cool to watch ive never seen anyone else play this game before, and this i by far my favorite game for n64, if not for all systems. good job though..

Was playing this on the N64 last night one of my friends got 3.5million! The stupid thing didnt even save to the memory card. Best way to do it is 4 duck ponds with 1 major lake then a bombing corner. Usually ducks along the top and then bombing and unneeded pieces are thrown to the left where the bombing area is :)

I just recently got over 500,000. Pretty good technique. I think you might ahve been able to have one more duck pond before you ever reset, but maybe not; that's pushing it for the earthquake. anyway, good video!

Looks like you started to lose focus and panic near the end there, but still did way better than I ever have. cool! This game gets the adrenaline goin. I find it helps to "shave" the walls down so you don't get so many earthquakes, esp. carve out the inside of small lakes (so they weigh less and hold more water).

How do you get 15 mil? Ive got 8, by keeping land no more than 2 tiers high and the lakes at around five or six with ducks, and constantly cutting down and rebuilding in the middle to reduce earthquakes. any pointers?

your tactique is good, a little bit like my tactique, but what causes your lost? earthquaque or full drain?? yeah I have 58millions xDDD

Can usually get to say level 6 before having to smart bomb and level it. Up til there usually full drain but from 6 on could be either. Were you at level 10 for a long time or do most of your scoring in lower levels? I find trying to get any more than 5 or 6 ducks just causes earthquakes and reduces the "big lake" size which you need for big score surges.

I've beaten this score too, on my N64 copy. It's very tricky playing the game with an N64 controller first, then a PS2 modeled controller after, especially with a strange button combo.
