Thanks! While I was receiving the anti-VEGF shots for macular edema I had two strokes almost exactly a year apart! Now that I know what the doctor should have known all along its pretty obvious what needs to be done now. May your sins surely find you out!

I use cayenne pepper, ginger, and vitamin c to help with circulation. research dr. Richard Schultz on this. He is the best known alternative dr. I know of. there's lots of his literature on the internet and this information might help with stroke patients.

Hey Allie. Thinking about you. Wishing you the best. From the looks of you, every time I see you, you look and sound better, thats one big positive you can rely on. But yes your frustration is loud and clear, this shouldnt have happened in the first place. Makes me mad, cant imagine how mad you must feel. But then you show allot of heart and will to over come this, and to be honest it looks like you definitely will.

I am so glad you are getting better! Have you thought about going on the OmniPod? It would be much easier to put on than a standard infusion set for sure. Maybe your insurance would allow for a new pump before the warranty is up on the old one because of the motor skills issue? Contact me if you want to brainstorm some ideas about pumping....
