Most fun I've had with an arcade game since I was a kid. The only time I've said that paying for the game actually makes it better. When I went over that ridge and saw 30 terminators I lost all hope for my dollar. A video game you own doesn't cause that kind of dread. Lots of fun.
played this at an arcade today and i'm addicted, if you buy this and opened an arcade in my town, i would come every 2 weeks to blow ten bucks, yeah, its that good. love it.

@bmigaming I am remodeling my basement, and having a little arcade area, I was thinking about getting the 42" LCD. What other games would you recommend? And also what are shipping prices from Boca Raton to Illinois? And how long would it take? Also, would you recommend a professional assemble it? Or is it buildable by an average person?
this my fav game. i rember beting a super deluxw alone. and let me tell you. it was easy. game gets easy later on because you fine out the trick and that is to only shot at terminator that are red and save grenade and use them on the fat terimantors or use them when the small ones. (ps on small one use thes shotgun and only fire if any are red and attackings because about 80% of dont attack you)
Arcade games in general are very short play, big wow. very few people play till the end after they beat their first game and realize how short it was and how many doillars they spent. Fighting games and pinball are the only exception, they are a diffferent breed.
i would try this for $2 a play....once...but for $0.50 a play i would try to sepnd enought to beat it. did that with my local Rambo machine. no one would play it cause of the price. they dropepd it and then you had to wait in line....
i played this in CT with my ex girl and her brother most epic arcade system i ever seen it most def looked like it came from the future lol well made system sound quality is real loud and good as well idk if its worth 20k but if it was 10k i would say its 100% worth it
I'm prior service ARMY and I absolutely LOVED the AR-15 lightguns with the magazine reload button. I played this at the Harkins Theater at Chandler Fashion Square. I liked it alot, but overall wouldn't play again. If there's an owner-set difficulty, they ramped it up to max. Took forever to kill a single enemy even with all headshots. I read that aiming offscreen makes you take cover. Is this true? Might change my opinion of the game. Would like to see a strat guide for this. 75% rating from me.
one major rule of completing the entire game if your lucky that the cost to continue is 2 coins and you got like 100 coins. Always put in 4 coins to play and about 8 extra to continue it helps majorly i passed about 3 times and got 4 high score positions:2nd,3rd,4th,5th
20k takes a long long time to pay it off and start to profit. thats why the home video game market is king these days, coin op companies charge too much . operators cant afford it. too small of a return on a huge invest. then, when you sell the game, it loses value like a car.
@jillywilly138 - In a smaller arcade or those with little traffic, you have a point... But in a large arcade or FEC (Family Entertainment Center), it would take less than 12 months to return a 100% ROI on this game.. (30 plays per day at $2 per play) - And the "12 month payback" has been an industry standard for some time. So for those larger facilities with steady customer traffic, this atrraction can be a very profitable addition - And a great attention-getter as well !
@bmigaming But what about us people thinking about just starting an arcade business? Everyone else has to start somewhere right? And I believe this is another reason we don't see any arcades in my area because these machines cost more than a really nice car. Besides you say 12 months it pays for itself. Meaning no profit for a whole year. By time then there will be a new game out. Then what? I have wanted to start an arcade but these prices don't make it possible or realistic to start an arcade
@flkatk - Only 10? At that price, you should order 20... Actually, considering the recent prices for many large format arcade games that do not come close to the "wow factor" of such a large attraction piece like the Terminator 100" Model, $20K is a very fair price...
I played this last week when I went to the movie theatre. It was great!!! Did this ever get ported to PS3 or XBOX360?

@sjoerdsuper - I attended E3 2010 - I saw companies who specialize
in designing gaming accessories such as an semi-automatic rifle
for Wii, PS3, and 360. This game could definitely be ported home.
The question is, do they want to ?
Grooveraider 1 year ago
So $1.25 to $2.00 per game.. how the hell are you supposed to do a play thru on that?
maybe this is being catered for rich folk....
