I found this program very entertaining but using the internet for the gospel is so worldly. LOL! Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
Vance havner said it like this. "You don't have to dress like a clown to witness to a circus." We are so consumed with wanting to be liked by the world. We no longer believe in the power of the Word of God. We believe we must "trick", "convince" people they need what we have. But that is the same thing they get from a tv ad. We have the Truth. We have the Word of God. We know what matters. Why do we want to look like the world so badly? Why do we value "fitting in" so much?
Wow, all of these acts do not go well with my spirit. Anything that is self promoting is not of God. I hope the Church wakes up and moves away from all sinful temptations. Sin looks fun but it leads to death. When you come to Christ you are to be reborn. Somethings you use to do, you will no longer have the interest to do again. Music has a spiritual connection that goes along with it. I pray our pastors are at least hip to this even if the congregation may not be. May Jesus Bless you All.
seeing that "display" for Christ cuased me to cry...UPDATE: You can't walk it out, that's the point of Christ being perfect. You and I are not, but Christ is that is why he could be the sacrifice of the Cross that he was. Our job is to go out and PREACH the Gospel (which that man rapping was not doing), you can't LIve it only Jesus coud and infact did that. Amen.
hey Lane, remember that message i sent about the Seven Project? well i just want to say that there was a nonChristian who criticized this school-project and yet said something like, "they can talk about Jesus all they want, but they dont have to be hip and cool for us to understand."

Rap music and suggestively dressed dancing girls in the background as the congregation "make some noise"...and the problem is?
