The versions of stay free and train in vain are from the 1983 show at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, New Jersey right? Is that a CD or a vinyl LP? Where'd you get it?
right except it was in march 1980. i downloaded the mp3s off a a site which is now defunct and i converted them over to cd. if you look up "capitol radio" on ebay you might be able to find a copy.
Hi ive just started guitar the tabs for the da da dar bit are shown as A and d played on the 2nd/3rd fret area, yr sound is much better so please tell me where you are putting yr fingers so i can get that sound
i place my ring and pinky fingers on the 7th fret of the G and B strings, which is another variation of the D chord for the "da da" part. for the "dar" i put my ring finger on the 7th fret of the D string, my middle finger on the 6th on G, and my pointer finger on the 5th fret B string hope that helps.
This question is kind of ridiculous but do your fingers change between the second 'da' and the 'dar' or are you just muting the D string on the seond 'da' and strumming it on the 'dar'?
coards please pm me

is the original recording a les paul or a tele?
StinkingHombre 2 years ago
tele i believe. ive only seen joe use teles

@rando1415 He used a Les Paul live sometimes.

mick jones used a gibson les paul junior and joe used a 1966 fender telecaser so the original would have been both a les paul and a telecaser
