In this particular scene they could have mocked a lot of hindi films and hindi actors easily, instead they crossed and chose a hero from south. Most of the technicians in bollywood are from south, its south which is winning most of the national awards, and I feel bollywood suffers from inferiority complex, otherwise why to mock ur neighbour?.
