i remember at our last tournament the refs called terrible for us the calls were 38 on us and 3 on them,and one of the fouls they didn't call was when our center had the ball and all the kids on the other team kept jumping up and slapping his arms.

i would have called nothing..he was trying to defend the post and the guy moved, he fell, definately not a vtech foul, not an offensive push off either. Ive seen more contact go uncalled. The quick whistle on the Technical is straight pussy, refs act like you can never disagree with something. Typical ACC officiating.

There was absolutely no pushoff; if he did make contact with his face it was due to trying to pull free as the defender was falling, pulling his arm in that direction. He wasn't even looking in the defender's direction...real hard to aim at his face when he can't see it.

And just out of curiosity, please explain the logic of this statement: "But as far as flopping goes he got slapped in the face". That's like saying "But as far as parallel parking goes someone keyed my car."

Worst call in history, eh?? Yeah, OK, whatever you say. But I suspect it wasn't even the worst call that particular day, especially considering that it was called correctly. That is unless they've revised the rulebook to say that its a foul when an opponent leans on you and you move causing him to lose his balance and fall. Oh, there must also have been a new rule stating that when that opponent grabs your arm while he's going down its not a foul, but to pull free of his grip is.

that was terrible, if anything it was on defense not the offense. just cause the frigging guy fell. i hate refs like these. in two indiddents, these girls were pissing me off, getting break aways and getting the layup AND the foul, so I ran down, planted my feet, put my hands crossed over my chest (as if you were setting a pic) and took the charge making it look like i took a blow. but BOTH dumb-a refs called it on ME although i was not near the girl b4 the shot was taken.

If I was in Seth Greenberg's shoes, I would be mad as hell too for a call like that. The refs must have thought it was an intentional takedown and called it as such. If anything, it looked like a flop by the Virginia Tech Hokie that got taken down. Almost like he took some Flopping in Basketball classes. Whatever happened to taking a hard foul instead of trying to get a cheap foul call? It was a bad call, but the one player who went down really should take the blame.

No need to get mad. I am not insulting NC State by calling ACC refs bad. I agree both calls were terrible but in this situation it did end up in 4 points for you guys when it should have been free throws for us. That means a 6 point swing here. On the terribly called intentional it was going to be free throws for us anyways and since we scored 5 in that possession it totals a 3 point swing. So, both calls were equally bad this one just hurt a little bit more. No need to get offended.

Of course but you need to realize that even if the foul on fells isn't called flagrant then it's still 2 shots maybe even an and one. That means we gained 2 or 3 extra points off of the poorly called flagrant while you guys gained four points off of this call.

This call was worse simply because it should have been a foul on NC State. While I agree fells did not commit an flagrant it still should have been a regular foul. Meaning NC State did not loose as much out of the situation as the hokies did in this situation. Anyways I didnt upload that intentional for the same reason you didn't upload this video.
