if you want to train for those,do negatives... basically when u cant do any more. then jump up in the end position, then lower yourself slowly. eventually u be strong enough to do reps

So. It looks legit to me. I am a climber. And can do a one armed pull up, on a doorframe. And as a result of stupid things like this, I have 4 joint injuries that are pretty chronic and I have to tape my fingers every time I climb.
Training for one armed pull ups is easy. Start with two armed pullups :) But seriously, start with normal pull ups to build up some strength, and then start doing assisted one arms (only use one finger on the other hand to help you out). Careful!
Not a one arm pull-up, its almost a one arm pull-up. Still the truth is most people can't even get that close. With some training this guy will get stronger.

I'm sorry, but that's just not true. With one hand on your wrist you're using both arms to pull up, the difference being that one hand is supporting the weight instead of two. To truly use only one arm to pull yourself up, the other arm has to be hanging. Try it.
heres the deal. Im 155lbs and 6ft... and I will do those till the cows come home. But kids keep in mind. He isn't a climber obviously so packing all that mass up a ledge is hard(probably why he used both hands) his fingers have alot more work to do. and he isnt even using those big muscles to do the trick a pull up is a pull up. his arms can do it. the doorway is all tendons, pad coverage and forearm strength. but i cant bench for shit...so if he ever has a GEO metro fall on him he will be fine
