I love synths in Black Metal, it's just that they are not utilized the correct way, or they are subject to paint-by-numbers generic/commercial "black metal" bands. I just found out about Nazxul like 1/2 hour ago and already I'm deeply moved, this band knows what they're doing with the symphonic thing and the sound is massive. For the life of me, I don't understand how anyone can listen to Dimmu Borgirs bland bullshit after hearing this.
@insidethefall78 then u should start to begin understanding it, because everything is a matter of taste, there is no "good" and no "bad" music. and in my opinion dimmu borgir is one of the best (symphonic) black metal bands on earth, so please tolerate other people's taste :) and i also like nazxul!
@LuciafoMET666 I used to really like dimmu until their fourth album, but then they just lost it and started to suck really bad, that is my opinion. There is good music and there is bad music (according to yours truely) and although art is subjective it is our duty to have and express an opinion on it. I can't make you feel the anger and sickness I feel when listening to dimmu's recent offerings, but I respect your opinion that you like the recent offerings.
@insidethefall78 I used to like Dimmu because they were associated with the Norwegian scene. Silly right? Now I don't listen to the Norwegian bands at all (As much as I respect those that aren't Dimmu Borgir. I respect Varg mostly because I got tired of Satan in everything and then I found German Black metal. Horn is a good solo project that sounds like V&S metal (Vikings and shit metal) without the silly crap.
@MorkaGraven I really don't really care about scenes or nationality. Everyone in the (in)famous norwegian BM scene either left it for some other form of music or quit. Although Personally I think that the Norwegian language is more magical and ancient sounding than lets say german, french, greek, italian. I really just care about bands and sound. Lately though I've been discovering the early greek black metal stuff like Rotting Christ, Thou Art Lord, Zemial, varathron, necromantia, etc...
@insidethefall78 i also respect your opinion dude, but please just see that every music is subjective. i don't like it if people say that a band is shitty.. they can tell that they think they are shitty.. but i don't like it if people say that a band IS shitty.. because it is relative, and it sounds so objective.
This track makes me feel empowered and apart of something greater than myself. A legion, I like to think of it. Whatever legion it is, I know not. Of black metal? Of heavy metal as a whole? Maybe even to rebellious counter-culture itself? I cannot describe the feeling that rushes through me as I listen to Oath (Fides Resurrectio), but I am aware that it makes me transcend reality and brings me to an area of my soul too estranged from the pains of modernity
@DMfan1994 A part of a greater subculture that promotes intelligence, discussion, creativity, and brotherhood? A subculture that promotes self-improvement and self-discovery? A subculture that views similarities amongst its members as a binding force as opposed to something to revile as a misguided interpretation of intended-conformity?
@DMfan1994 I LOVE METAL !!!!!!!!!!!!! to see those coments improved my day 10fold... fuck them will build our society of truth, brotherhood and true freedom underneath there feet
@areetlikehew hey il cum on whatever i want!!!! lol. but seriously i wasnt havin a go or anything man i just wanted to express i feel the same way bout this music
@peopledpanic Yeah man, I wasn't having a go either, I just think there's expressing how you feel about music (which is sweet) and then there's just being a bit gay haha. There's a line somewhere I'd imagine. You not agree bud?
@areetlikehew haha yeah point taken and i agree but you must also agree that cumming on things is a great pass time... but yeah we dont want this turning into hillsong with everyone crying about how beuatiful it is and how they feel the spirit of hoogydibah or whatever it is they beleive in... the line is crossed way before that but a good example i think none the less
If you like this dont forget to check out another Australian Black Metal band Called Naetu they kick fucking ass they toured for Cradle Of Filth last year took my breath away
Big sound, a band that give U the time to listen to the details in the song, They hit the nerve, that just wanna make U hear this song again and again..Epic Masterpiece from the Aussies..Who should have thought that..Amazing. \m/
I bought their cd from JB HI-FI. Had a sticker; Special Import. I lol'd, considering it's an Australian band- Sydney, even, and it had to be specially imported to a Sydney JB Hi-Fi store. loooool.
Australia has birthed some fuckin true talent man!! Including of course greatest band on earth, AC/DC \m/ \m/ looking forward to checking these guys out a MDF on May 28th!!

Lyrics pt2:
Lamentations embraced with serpent coils
And no light on the path, born to be destroyed
To the glorious Celestial host
We bring betrayal, we bring corruption
My body will undo what has been done
Unto Salvation's end,
I am salvation

Lyrics pt1:
From the rising of the sun to the ends of the earth
Hail the true body born of the virgin
You who truly suffered and were sacrificed
On the cross for the sake of man
From whose pierced flank flowered water and blood
Be a fortaste for us in the trail of death
Sounds fallen only unto those who see
