Paladin with black armor and 2 medium weapons? Right... I made an 15 lvl Rogue/ Shadowdancer/Assassin with no armor and only a dagger against a fully unenchanted armored Paladin 20 lvl and the Assassin totally kicked his ass. Paladins are the most overrated class ever

this character is obviously brought from another save, because that armour and weaponry is high level stuff and is pretty much impossible to find in chapter one, or the prelude. eithr that or you've modfied chapter one or the prelude to include that equipment.

Those aren't necisserily (how the crap do you spell that word?) the best swords. You can make a new module and then create your own weapons. There is no real limit to how strong you can make them and you could have them so they make you impervious to damage. I did it once but it makes the game really easy and boring.

Nice, duel wielding two one handed weapons has a -6 /-10 penalty and a -4/ -4 if you have the feat which requires a 15 Dex so you wasted your abilitiy points and your heavy weapon proficentcy. XD, that saying with the 'his strength upholds the weak' was off Dragonheart. I have the Diamond version of this game, I love NWN. Paladins are powerful and all but I like being a Druid so I can turn into a dragon and just fry everyone. :o

cleric has some nice damage spells availibale to them like the blade poping spell. I think paladin is less healing , but more head to head fighting type. Both are great , but cleric is suprising strong for melee too after casting their buffs.

If this game turned into an MMORPG it would be awsome. But they need to do 2 things,

1.Start from the start of the original NWN game.

2. Don't mess with the storyline

3. DO NOT MAKE IT P2P, WHATEVER BURSTARD MADE THE IDEA OF P2P IS INCREDIBLY DUMB. I mean, who wants to pay for games monthly when you payed to pay for it? If you dont have p2p you get a larger community.

But of course i really doubt they'll make a mmorpg NWN. One more thing, KOTOR MMORPG coming out NON P2P woo!

ughh who cares...anyway....i just realized soemthing.....why are paladins in this game named clerics?.....when i was a paladin and talking so soem people instead of calling me soldier or other stuff like that they call me cleric....anyway i think that the in this game the cleric is a more advanced paladin.....anyway the paladin has some cleric spells...just that some are missing and he learns them in a different way :P.....it doesnt matter if u are cleric or paladin...they will call u holyman;)

There's one difference between paladins and clerics: Clerics are combat oriented healers who acts according to their alignment and the Paladins are goody-two-shoes fighters with minor cleric spells at their disposal.. I mean clerics CAN be either paladinish do-gooders or simply some arrogant bastards who worship monetary wealth. Not exactly what I'd call a holyman :P

clerics have actual spells but paladins have the good buffs like holy sword and divine favor

I think that clerics have the same buffs as paladins (and a whole lot more), paladins only worthy buffs are Bull's Strenght & Eagle's Splendor. Divine Favor is good (it could last a bit longer) and Holy Sword is a great spell.. oh ya, paladins also get Death Ward, which is sorta nice spell to have around.
