@andyb1314 TCU is doing amazing this year... but nobody would have thought they'd be so good. SMU will make a comeback; we're already on our way. The death penalty killed us for a while, but give us a few years and we'll be real competition again. I'm bred to hate TCU, but congratulations on your success this year. TCU beat undefeated boise state last year in a bowl and TCU has produced players such as Ladian Tomlison and Larry Brown who was an superbowl mvp. SMU didnt even win over like 3 games last year so they have no shot and they dont play in a tough conference so just amagine if they had to play teams like boise state and byu???? these are two teams tcu beat. im 19. to be honest i am pissed that greg mackmackin is our head coach from a recruiting stanpoint but we went 7-7 last year which is 500. and made a bowl game. Hawaii has been in a bowl game the past 4-5 years so we have been better than SMU by far. I let the stats speak for itself we have had Colt Brennan, Davone Bess, Ryan Mouton and David Verkuine who all are in the NFL. I still cant find many from SMU.

Yep, and you're old head coach made the biggest football program comeback in NCAA history, and June Jones admits that this season of SMU recruits are by far better than anything he received at Hawaii.. Speaking of history, SMU has been home to many outstanding NFL football players (including my dad).

yeah he attended school in the dallas area. walker is from the old school SMU squad .Thats that june jones stated that but he also stated that Colt Brennan would be drafted in the first round but Brennan went in the 6th to the Redskins. June Jones is a great coach but we had great talent at Hawaii to run the system. SMU doesnt have the popularity that Hawaii has because we play in a better conference with teams like Boise State and Fresno State.

TCU fan here...this was a textbook letdown game right here. It seems like whenever TCU comes off of beating a big-conference team they start thinking they're boss shit when in reality it just makes the underdog (this case one of our biggest rivals) much more eager to knock us off. It's cost the Frogs the BCS a few times.

This is why they play the games, and why you should take EVERY game seriously.
