i wanna say yes but if a string did break you could hear it vibrate freely and hit other strings or the body of the guitar and make this bad sound and i don't hear anything like that going on in the song.

they create two very distinct voices that really play well off of each other

I usually wouldn't think that these solo acoustic pieces could really be backed up by a bass, but Manring's definitely the one guy who could, and he does here
