I guess this is gonna be a stupid question but... Sony released a firmware that removes the OtherOS feature, consequently the feature of being able to use your multiple emulator. Is there anything you can do, so we can upgrade and still being able to use your emulator somehow? Cause I still haven't installed Linux on my PS3 Phat, but THIS was the only reason I was considering doing it but we can't anymore. So.... project terminated or will continue somehow?

Good job on this project zerojay. I got it up and running my old Snes games perfectly. I just got a question about making the screen wider, i've been on all the forums and tried a bunch of things (yaboot.conf,etc) but I still have about 6 inches both left and right cut off from my screen when playing Snes games. I'm running linux 6.2 (720p) and the latest version of zerogame.

This is normal, expected behavior. SNES games didn't run in widescreen.

ok , i thought that might be the case (wasn't sure because when i play my snes it fills up more of the screen, but that's because it's 480i, guess i'll have to wait for the update)

any chance of there being a ps2 , ps1 , psp , xbox , or gamecube emulator?

I can tell you for sure xbox won't be able to run since there isn't even an xbox emulator for the pc. i wouldn't put my hopes up for psp, ps2 or gamecube. Maybe there will be a ps1 or Nintendo 64 if were lucky.

you can play PS1 games on PS3 without emulator (if they are original). But the other consoles... I don't think so... well, maybe Gamecube has a little possibility, as Dolphin emulator for PC is so awesome and there is a Linux version, but they should addapt it to the PS3's Linux and I don't know if that's possible...

@zerojayzero @GlobalPSPower Of course, it's already shown that PSP games can be run from the PS3, and I can see loaders for PS1/2 games, and possibly emulators for the other systems (SNES is out too, and dreamcast being worked on) coming too. The only thing is, it will come for jailbroken PS3s, not ones with only OtherOS enabled. If you don't have OtherOS, it is coming soon for jailbroken PS3 :))))

lookin for a bit of help on this, ive just spent hours loading ydl 6.2 and zerogame but cannot find where to start it.

has something gone wrong, dont see application anywhere.

could not get controller to pair either error cannot listen on hid control channell. What am i doing wrong

just noticed also that it should boot straight into zerogame on other os load but mine doesnt do this as the ydl loads on fully and brings me to the login screen and main ydl screen.

something has gone wrong here!

any advice people this is driving me nuts as people seem to be geting it done easy.
