  • 不错!nice!

  • Please tell me where I can buy this video(DVD).

  • @model23girl23

The video clips were on an enhanced cd "It Happened One Night" by the Holly Cole Trio on Metro Blue/Capitol Records released in 1996.

  • @KissFanSite

    Thank you very much.

  • @model23girl23 please check him out on Joe Henry, "God Only Knows" David Piltch plays that big old string bass like a Statocaster. A real treat!

  • @model23girl23 Amen

  • I went to this concert, which was great. I don't know what happened to Holly Cole shortly after though. It didn't help that she left her trio.

  • Wedding of Broken Glass

    It was a wedding day,

And there was a place to stay.

There were two doors away -

    One for you to play;

    Another for the worker's day.

    Each had a purpose,

Yet before a week would pass,

    Those doors were asunder -

    Plundered and broken glass.

  • Damn!!!

  • Nice. I actually wrote a song called "Little Boy Blue," that has nothing to do with the original rhyme or this song.... Check it out!

  • i want to be her

  • Little Boy Blue...He needed the money!

  • I love this song, this artist, this performance! I got to interview Holly once and we had a blast.

The song is originally from the soundtrack to the Francis Ford Coppola film One From The Heart. It's an amazing album, worth picking up if you can find it. Tom Waits and Crystal Gayle, sounds odd, but they're perfect together!

  • nice song

  • What a great sultry voice!

    Fabulous singer / performer.

  • wow!

  • what's the guy using for drums???

  • I think that is a drum head from bass drum and drum head from some tom

  • She has got to have the greatest bass player in the world in her group!!!!

  • @holywells Amen

  • i love holly cole

  • damn hipsters

  • I think David Piltch was the one who first made me impressed by a bass player back in my 20's with Holly's first albums and San Francisco concerts.

  • Are you kidding me!? David Piltch on the bass-our Holly the arbiter of product...I am over! Jazz is jazz-you have forced the evolution of the media. Bless you and all who sail on you! xoxoxo

  • mortal!

    me re cabe esta mina

  • Now that's Jazz - Coooooool...........

    Great Post.

  • I like it a lot. Very nice live performance. I can't stop listening to it.

  • I saw her live in Tokyo Blue Note about a week ago. Pretty sweet!

  • She is sex on a stick. :-) Awesome clip (I remember it from the CD-ROM!), loved this era for HC. Thanks for sharing!

  • This is actually one of my favorite Tom Waits songs. Interesting, minimalistic version! :)

  • Does it get any better or sweeter? Beauty, thanks for the upload! Anything from Holly and the best damn trio this side of the Pecos, or whatever, is fine by me.

  • Do you have any footage of her and the band performing any of these three songs (her best in my opinion):

That old black magic, Trust in me or Crusin.

    Thanks very much.

  • I will have to check on those. I uploaded the video for "I Can See Clearly Now" as it was "no longer available" on YouTube.

    Thanks for watching.

  • This is the only clip I have from this show but I'd love to see another song or two! :)

  • I really like Dougie Bowne, a very cool and creative drummer.

This was a fantastic era for Holly.

This performance is from the special TEMPTATION from the St. Denis in Montreal, do you have the whole show? I was thinking of posting it in it's entirety, since I have a high quality copy of it, it's one of my favourite's!... thank you.
