The only reason this car was converted to RWD is cause the front wheels would be free spinning in the air. All out racecar 6or less sec. = RWD. Slower or street cars = AWD=BEST. (not to say sheps car is slow)

i have no idea, but if i had to guess, i'd say his engine alone is around 75 grand and another 50 g's or so for the car unless you can do everything yourself

I believe do it yourself will cost you around 80-100K if they do it for you will cost 400K and that because they are Training professionals and can also build QUAD TURBOS with ease.

@dsmdion .... very true, the rear tyres produce more than enough grip, plus the added weight of the 4wd system and the fact the weight is relieved from the front wheels when accelerating, therefore reducing contact and grip!

@stiggywiggywoo it isn't about grip at all or added weight of the awd. When you've got this much power it's about weight transfer and the integrity of the parts. RWD cars will always be faster off the line with engines making ridiculous power, because of weight transfer. Also 1000+hp through any old awd system and transfer case isn't going to hold up like a single ford 9" rear would.
