I do this, except I'm an Ork, so I use beserker rage ( I do 2x damage but only take half damage ) I use shrouded gloves (2x damage), and I have the assassins blade perk (15x damage). Which right there makes 60x damage which is beast, especially when you have the base perk for one handed weapons really high. My character is so OP!

@IZsniperlRaptorlZ with the perk Assassin's Dagger ( which multiplies by 15 the damage made by stealth dagger attacks) and the shrouded gloves(obtained in the DBrotherhood questline , muliplies by 2 that type of damage by 2).

PS: power stealth attacks also get multiplied :) .

@eetu45 You can join the guilds at any level. Im pretty sure I got it from just disenchanting dungeon drops, it was a while ago now so I cant remember exactly! As for tips - focus on your sneak so you can get the damage increase. If you prefer ranged, level archery too, or focus on a one-hander. Once you get to 40+, youll be unstoppable!

@EkkoBMX The best I can suggest for levelling one handed is to go toe-to-toe with some mobs. I would have a heal in one hand and a sword in the other so you can keep attacking and healing - should keep you alive whilst you are levelling it. Good luck :)

@dkmariolink I would use magic such as conjuration or illusion. Conjuration because of the bound bow, which early on is great and the summons you get. Illusion because of calm/rage and invisibility.

@halabinono omekerr is correct - you get a massive boost to dagger damage from stealth. In a one-on-one I prefer swords still as they have a higher base damage (which is why youll often see me switch) - but daggers as an opener do a huge amount of damage.

@MrDjx3 Hi mate - personally I haven't and wouldnt recommend it. Speechcraft is good for getting better prices etc but I wouldn't place points in it. You'll find that the intimidation and persuasion options arent that useful and youll end up with so much gold even without the boosts to selling it gives. Hope that helps you decide <3

I'm not much for the sneak. I find it useful everyone once in awhile, but for this boss, all I did was rush in there and I killed the guy in less than 5 seconds. Apparently, all the other people die once he dies. Good video though. Helped me see what was coming and I respect the sneak.

so, just let you know 30x is not the max you can get. You can achieve 60x by getting the crit perk while running for one handed. this is very impressive character balancing well between archery, magic, and sneak. I didn't do any magic other than illusion for silent cast for invis. Went for smith, alch, and ench for the best equips. I finished main and every side quest except the companion. With my build, I was able to one shot kill alduin at the end at master level.

VERY impressive, I like it! Have you tried the thiefmage build yet? I finished the primary storyline as straight mage build (around lvl 26 when it finished) and have been going Stealth/assassin since. I currently mainhand the Dagger of Woe and offhand Invisible, and I'm damn near unstoppable on the highest setting. 30x damage backstabs, and invis and stealth to reapply. Rinse and repeat. Give it a try!

@killahpsych In all of the other elder scrolls games, Ive played an assassin with illusion magic so I wanted a change from the norm. Besides, when your sneak skill gets really high, illusion magic becomes fairly pointless for sneaking around. I can see the use in the fury spell, but I can one-hit most minions with a bow, so its no biggy.

@TheCrapinabox Actually invisibility lets you just run around willy nilly and assassinate people from the front, eliminating all need for positioning. It's a pretty cheesy build though.

@5796morgan Thats an elven dagger with the shock enchant. I enchanted it myself (elven stuff starts appearing at a fairly low level). If you are after a really good dagger, the dark brotherhood quest line will give you really good rewards (as well as an awesome horse that never dies!)

@BelowZero2010 Yep, there is only one way it can die. Which is to basically take a single hit which totals more than her HP (if the hit isnt more than her total HP, it will regen incredibly quickly). I have yet to encounter anything that can do that much damage in the game (if there is), other than a large fall.
