He's not hurting him! When he swings him around the bird is hanging around with his feet and getting exercise for his wings. Macaws would do this in the wild. There is nothing wrong with what he is doing but a novice should never attempt to handle a bird of this size without experienced supervision. Sir, beautiful bird and good job from another macaw owner! I take mine to retirement homes as well!
you dont know what the heck your talking about i train them without treats you idot there is trust and love and lots of passion you dont have a clue what your talking about i do shows for children childrens hospitals senior centers and disable kids they get lots of smiles and forget there sick pull your head out of your butt and dont make remarks you dont have a clue about

Hyacinth macaws live to around 60 years.

Actually they can live over 100years old. Check websites if you dont believe me..lol

You are right! Macaws can live to 100+. We have to make sure they are cared for when we die, that is very important.
