nice, but the commission should really also look into the telephone and Internet Service Providers, in many countries (like my own denmark, and from what iv read germany has also had its share), 1 company is so big that they abuse their size to hold the composition out by very question l means.
Businesses in the US have too much power and influence in political decisions that make your democracy quite quesitonable. And I guess we've just seen how US has tried using maffia techniques to manipulate legal decisions.
Stop being a sore loser. Everybody knows Microsuck has been abusing and expanding its dominant position. How do you justify that a representative of US dept. of justice is trying to meddle with EU laws in favor or MSFT interests? I know this is how business is conducted in the US, but here that would be considered a conflict of interests, aka corruption.
US has also been pressuring EU to adopt the perverted patentability of software, so that there's practically nothing small software companies can develop, because they'll either be sued by large US companies who have patented trivial things like "one click shopping", or don't have the money to go after large companies to claim. Just another dirty tool used to claim the world.
The US knows it can use companies like Microsoft as platform to extent its influence in the world. Maffia I tell you!
How many times does Microsoft have to be convicted in antitrust cases before peanuts like you finally understand that this corporation is a serial predatory monopolist ?
