Its all about authority and conformity - this was not a concern of danger or safety, but that it was going against the rules. School is designed to teach kids to conform to authority. They do this so kids will grow up and never form their own opinions and always follow the in crowd like sheep. Its the American way.

The bully in this school is the principle. She should be fired. As an upcoming CA middle grade teacher, I am appalled that a child was treated in this manner. I am 100% against zero-tolerance, and would like to think that I can stand up to administratvie bullies like this type. Our children deserve much better. I hope that this principle has been removed from her position. I guarantee this lady and I would have issues. Just who the HELL does she think she is?
