So sad to hear the great man has passed away. I watched this film as a lad at the English cinema in UK and got told off for doing the yahoos loudly at home. Its the best mountain scenes ever shot. See the way Shammi and Saira slide down and meet face to face at the bottom. Absolutely wonderful directing and acting. Bollywood would never be what it is today without his brilliant films. Superb personality.
