My father and I would always be on High Rock Lake Friday mornings before the sun come up. Now we are scared to fish in a lake that is so polluted. This fish kill was unnecessary and preventable! Something must be done to clean up the lake and it needs to be done now. The city of Thomasville should be held responsible for the clean up because it was city workers that let this happen. I have heard people say that it was the lake turning over and not the pollution that caused this.
I dont think people understand how many gallons of raw material were put in the lake. By comparison more pollution went into high rock via the raw sewage spill than the Exxon Valdez oil spill that affected 1460 miles of Alaskan coastline. Thank you for the video Mr. Naujoks keep up the good work. High Rock Lake fishermen are behind you all the way. Lets get this lake clean and keep it that way.
