Tree landing in the soccer field

Is there a competition or a fun fly there every year and when is it? I live in E. Wen and would like to go there for an afternoon if there is one!

@PC9JEFF Landing at BB park is a no no. It is normally in the soccer field near at Chelan Falls.

@WonderBoyyyyy Ohh, the soccer field is what I meant LOL! I can understand why you can't land at the park on the east side. I used to do fish work for the Chelan Co. PUD and we would launch at the soccer field and see you guys come in and land - I found that really facinating!

I was on the other side of the field filming that same "landing"...that was the Flying Canuck bouncing off the grass then planting his T2 up into the trees. Lots of Advil that night for the Canuck that night!

...ah yes...the infamous rotor...affecfed my takeoffs a week ago due to crossing

wind over the treetops...yucky air.

@WonderBoyyyyy There was l bunch of carnage that day. Coming in slow there with high wind = bad news.
